Tír Chonaill Therapies
1. General Information
Tír Chonaill Therapies provides professional holistic treatments including massage therapy, Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy (IET) and related wellbeing services.
All treatments are carried out with the intention of promoting relaxation, wellbeing and balance. These services are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
2. Client Eligibility
All clients must be 18 years or older to receive treatments.
By booking an appointment, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Bookings & Appointments
Appointments must be booked in advance via our booking system or by direct contact.
We aim to accommodate all clients; however, availability is not guaranteed. If you cannot find a suitable appointment time, please get in touch and we will do our best to assist.
A buffer time is included between appointments to allow for preparation and client transition.
4. Payment
Payment is required at the time of booking or immediately following your treatment unless otherwise agreed.
We accept card and cash payments.
Where applicable, booking fees and travel fees will be included in the total price.
5. Cancellation & Rescheduling
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a charge
- Failure to attend an appointment may result in full payment being required
This policy ensures fairness and protects appointment availability for all clients.
6. Mobile Treatments
Mobile treatments are available in the comfort of your own home, subject to availability and location.
A suitable space must be provided by the client to allow for safe and effective treatment. This includes sufficient room for the therapy setup and a calm, interruption-free environment. For the duration of the treatment, children and pets must not be present in the treatment area.
A travel fee applies to mobile appointments based on distance:
- 0-10 miles / 0–15 km: €10
- 10-20 miles / 15–30 km: €15
- 20-40 miles / 30-50 km: €20
- 40+ miles / 50+ km: €50
Travel fees may vary depending on distance and time required and will be confirmed where necessary.
In certain cases, travel fees may be reduced or waived for extended treatments or pre-paid wellbeing plans.
Tír Chonaill Therapies reserves the right to decline mobile appointments where suitable conditions are not met.
7. Health & Medical Conditions
Clients must disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries or concerns prior to treatment.
Treatments may be adapted or declined where necessary to ensure client safety.
If you are unsure whether a treatment is suitable, please seek advice from a qualified medical professional.
8. Professional Boundaries
All treatments are strictly professional.
Tír Chonaill Therapies operates a zero-tolerance policy towards inappropriate behaviour. Any such behaviour will result in immediate termination of the treatment and refusal of future services.
9. Wellbeing Plans
Wellbeing plans are non-transferable and must be used within a reasonable timeframe unless otherwise agreed.
Plans are designed to support ongoing wellbeing and may include multiple treatments.
Refunds are not provided once a plan has been partially or fully used.
10. Late Arrival
If you arrive late, your treatment time may be shortened to avoid impacting subsequent appointments.
Full payment will still be required.
11. Liability
Tír Chonaill Therapies is not liable for any loss, damage or injury except where caused by proven negligence.
Clients accept responsibility for providing accurate information and following any aftercare advice given.
12. Privacy
Client information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is kept confidential at all times.
13. Changes to Terms
Tír Chonaill Therapies reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available.
